Babysitting

Dreamt about a family gathering of sorts. I remember my dad, step-mom, his brother and sister, a field and organizing dates...

Had another dream where I was watching a friend of mine's dog (a little min-pin-mix that looks like a chunky chihuahua). The neighbor woman (I was on a 2nd level of a low-income apartment plex) was Mexican and a single mom who had a little girl about the age of 5. Her daughter was supposedly scared of the dog, but turns out she did it for attention. I ended up watching her daughter for a bit and she was fine with the dog when her mom left. I wanted to keep her busy so was going to have her watch a movie while she colored (what a way to promote ADD eh?). I had a video of the Parent Trap (the original version) or some Disney cartoons. I decided on the movie because I don't think I could handle all the signing on the toons. She wasn't interested in watching it but was happy with the coloring. I played with her hair a bit and was twisting it on top of her head. She had the kind of hair you find on cheap off-brand Barbies... Bangs with a lock of long hair just glued to the perimeter of the forhead. I said "I should probably put your hair down so your head doesn't get cold huh?" and she nodded. ;)
