Moving a barn

 I dreamt that I was in a large barn. Initially, I think I was just curious about the barn, then I was moving things around and when other's walked in, I had large plexi glass panels over the distressed and dusty walls in order to have a rustic/clean feel about the place and I was telling them that yes, this was going to be the gallery or store space. Then I was in a van connected to a flatbed connected to a semi-truck cab. We (my friend AL, her hubby, and I feel like some other goofy guy). We were hauling the barn to a new location. It was supposed to be semi in front, then van, and then flatbed, but the semi which we were in, ended up in the middle somehow and we were trying to figure out how to not fall off a cliff while reordering vehicles. It all worked out and then I was in front of a store. No barn, semi, or van.  It was I guess a different option and we were painting the windows with some blurring liquid so people couldn't see inside as we remodeled. It seemed easy, so easy.

Photo Opp

 I was with a group to take some sort of workshop. We were all on a bus on the way somewhere and stopped for something. One guy pointed out a park that was a few blocks away. It looked almost like a pyramid, part cement, part groomed greenery.  In front of the pyramid-like structure, were grounds with a long pathway leading up to it and tall deep burgundy colored evergreens. They were like Cypress but fuller. They all looked like fur when they moved in the wind. I decided to jump out while we were waiting and go get a photo. I knew just where I wanted to stand. I hurried down the block and over, there were many people out and about, all very nice, everyone in an uplifting mood. As I came a few blocks closer, I realized it was a few blocks that were all connected. There was a block of steps and forms that led to a block that had a capital-shaped building and then after that a block I couldn't see and then the pyramid. I then decided to take a photo of the capital as well and was backing up the block to a spot. I started cleaning my lens (my cap had fallen off at some point) and  a slightly exasperated blond man walked by. He saw my struggle (this whole time it was slightly snowing) trying to get my already wet lens dry and decided not to be upset. I guess in looking up at the sites, I had interrupted his path a couple of times. He was also going to take a photo, but had more experience and better equipment. I was assuming not an armature like myself. We chatted a bit politely and then I moved on towards the pyramid. I admired his style, blond, white clothing mostly, very focused and seemingly on a direct path. The snow kept coming and I came to a block right before the pyramid. It was one of those mini odd shaped blocks that are created by street plans. There was a block of cement there for a bench and I continued to prepare my setup before heading to the pyramid. A man was there with a little boy. He looked more like a grandfather in age. He chatted, very pleasant and offered me some soup to keep warm from the restaurant in front of us. It had an open window for serving. I somehow got my glove in it, so I kept putting my hands in the snow to see if it would come off. He was trying to help and the woman behind the counter offered to was them. Everyone was so nice. I handed the snowy slightly souped gloves to her and she went back to wash them. While we waited, the little boy chimed up telling me of his travels, and how many times he had been to Mexico and that it had peaked the CIA's interest and so on. He was very articulate for being such a little round blond boy. It was sweet to chat with him.

Colleagues on bus felt nice and encouraging, blond camera guy felt poised, a bit strict but kindly - more experienced, more directed and clear, city people felt nice and happy, bus felt like a hug, pyramid was beautiful (abundance), older man with moustache kind, nice - could see my potential and was giving me clues, boy - sweet possibilities, open minded, woman behind counter - kindness, serendipity/luck, blocks things seemingly in the way? like time passing. o
