I was in some sort of classroom I was with a group of students taking a test. We all seemed like we had spent plenty of time together because we seemed pretty chummy. I was stressing out. As I was taking the test I realized none of the information looked familiar to me. Had I checked out the whole time? That wasn't like me. I'm a procrastinator, but I do the work. I looked again at the first questions. They were all on stories we had read and (over) analyzed. I knew I had read the first story. In fact, I had gone over it with a fellow student several time until they understood the information. What was going on?? A guy in front of me (AdF) turned around and could tell something was up. He talked to me for a second. He was telling me that I had done all of the actual work, the reading, the analyzing ... everything on the check list. What I didn't do was put my?? soul?? my heart? my?? umph into it. So what ever I did as an activity, didn't stick enough to take the test. I could tell he felt bad about my situation. He knew I meant well and that I was confused, but at the same time he knew I wouldn't pass until I learned this. I should cut my losses and take the class again. There was no rush. As soon as I realized it wasn't a race... that I could do this all again and would do great now that I knew the secret, I felt relief.
Then I was in this company. It was a place I supposedly worked a long time ago and was back again. I felt like a bit of an old timer because I knew a lot of the history that they didn't. I told them who I used to work with there and they would be in awe like they were legends.
Then I needed to get somewhere. One of the coworkers was taking a truck into town for lunch, so I jumped in the back of his truck. It was fun sort of sliding around in the back. I had a dog with me too... part real, then stuffed animal some of the time. Then the man stopped. He had a passenger in the car as well. He didn't know who I was and was disturbed by my presence. I told him some people that I knew he knew that I knew as well... I said I just need to go downtown ... He seemed ok then and we all went out to get some lunch.
