staying places

I dreamt I was in a hospital. At first I was there to visit someone I think. They were occuppied, so I went to get my hair colored red (although the last thing I would do). They showed me how it turned out and I said "it is perfect! the exact color I wanted," which was an auburn color of red although slightly brighter. I went to go see my friend and was at the elevators. There was something about them... like it was an escape? a place to hide? a place to get to the next place, so in a way exciting? a way to be alone?  I'm not sure. The building was very modern and almost set up more like a high-rise business office type building than a hospital. Lots of windows, high ceilings and plants. I went through one area that was in the middle of the building. It was all open and I think it was a gift shop of sorts, but also had some desks.

I went to the room where I was supposed to see my friend. It was full of people and felt kind of nice. Then I left to go find my room. I guess I was staying there too. My room turned out to be one bed in a large room of beds. Kind of like what you see in the old movies. I put out my own downy comforter and pillow. I was wondering if that was a good idea. Would they take it thinking it was theirs? But I decided to leave it.

Then I dreamt I was coming up to a big house. Was it mine? My aunt's? I was going to stay there for a bit regardless. I think it was my aunt's because there was a note to pay the help for cleaning. It was a pile of rupees and there were a family of Indian people I was paying. They were waiting there for the money and graciously accepted payment until they felt it wasn't enough. I looked around for some dollars, just a few, and handed it to them. They seemed happy enough and left. Then I went into the garage. My cousin (TC) was there and my brother. There were a bunch of items we had to go through to set up for a garage sale. I saw an old turntable and wanted it. My cousin said just to take it. Then I saw more of them and one that had five stacked on top of each other. It was supposed to be something luxurious for back in the day, kind of like a 5 cd disc changer.
