spiders attack and ice cream buffet
I dreamt that I was in a large building. It felt almost warehouse-like in size and openness, but it was livable. I also felt like there was a feeling of community there. We all lived together, were aware of each other and cared about each other to some extent. We heard there had been some spider issue. Small spiders about the circumference of an eraser head. They could give you a disease with one bite that would kill you and possible make you a little "off" as well. I don't think you could trust a person once they were bitten. We were all on watch for them and looking out for each other, making sure we were all accounted for and could get to a safe place. I remember something about getting some supplies too, even things like entertainment. We were all to meet in one area, make sure it was spider free and then work out. Although the spiders were dangerous, it felt like a solvable problem. While gathering our things, we noticed that it was much worse than we had assumed. There were hundreds of spiders all together and we needed to act quickly.
...
Then it seemed the warehouse was an office. As though there were buildings built inside the warehouse, offices, cafes and so on, but all under a protective roof. I was supposed to go get some food at the grocery store for a meeting. People were all talking about the new ice cream buffet the store had put in. I went over to look at it. It didn't look appetizing, but maybe I was just being picky as everyone was raving about it. I asked for a sample spoon to see for myself. My instincts were right. The texture was icy, the flavors felt watered down and not rich. The people were just falling for the gimmick and the pricing.
